If you are a home barista, or just dabble in a bit of espresso with your own home set-up, we offer a range of maintenance service and repair services for most home machines. Below is a breakdown of common services, but if you are looking for something that isn't listed or have questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Basic Maintenance

Should be completed every 9-12 months

Group head cleaning and backflush
Steam wand cleaning
Head gasket replacement
Shower screen replacement
External component cleaning
Temperature and pressure testing
Critical component inspection
3 Way solenoid valve testing (if applicable)
Replace group valve gaskets and cam bushings (E61 only)
Lubricate cam and brew head (E61 only)

Advanced Maintenance

Should be completed every 2-3 years

Everything included in the Basic Maintenance
Disassembly and deep clean/descale of complete group head
Disassembly and deep clean/descale of 3 way valve system (if applicable)
Disassembly and deep clean of steam wand
Water tap and steam wand gasket replacement
Group valves, o-rings, bushings, filter and springs replacement (E61 only)
Inspect and clean level probes
Inspect and clean temperature probes
Anti-vacuum valve replacement (if applicable)
Brew and steam pressure testing and adjustment
Full system inspection

General Repairs

For when something breaks...

We will diagnose and repair your machine if something is broken or not working right. For repairs there is a $40 diagnosis fee to diagnose and provide a quote for repair. Once you decide to move forward with the repair, the diagnosis fee will be waived.

If you bring your machine in to us, this is what you can expect

Make an appointment to drop off your machine. You can drop off directly at our shop, or at our partner cafe Pirates of Coffee and enjoy a $5 coupon for Coffee Care customers. Depending on your location we may also offer machine pick up for a fee.

For regular maintenance we just get to work on your machine. For repairs, however, we will diagnose the issue and provide a quote for a fee of $40. This fee is waived if you decide to proceed with repairs.

In general, most repairs can be completed within the span of a week so you can get back to practicing your latte art.
